CLASS STRUCTURE

The twelve-week program provides information, counseling and guidance to men and women in order to understand their past behavior and control their future behavior. The program examines physical violence and focuses on the devastating effects of emotional and sexual abuse in intimate relationships. A cognitive behavioral approach is utilized with regard to recognition of escalating behaviors and developing a personal control plan.

The program is scheduled in thirteen-week increments. Participants are required to attend an intake and one session per week for twelve sessions. A maximum of two misses are allowed. More than two misses will result in discharge from the program.

The first step is to call or complete the form below to get a comprehensive chemical health assessment. Our assessments follow the Rule 25 format designed by the State of Minnesota. Appointments for an assessment can usually be scheduled within 2 days of your request. After the assessment, the appropriate level of services for your needs is determined.
